Malaria Program Manager
The Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GBC), in collaboration with the Corporate Alliance on Malaria in Africa (CAMA), is pleased to announce the re-launch of our recruitment search for the position of Malaria Program Manager. We are reaching out to you in the hope that you will be able to help us in identifying outstanding candidates for this exciting opportunity.
GBC and CAMA have established a partnership to solidify business engagement and advance multi-sector collaboration in the fight against malaria in sub-Saharan Africa. The manager’s two primary roles will be to serve as a source of technical and programmatic expertise and to provide leadership for a well-structured process that will enable the identification, documentation and effective scale-up of successful corporate approaches to malaria control in Africa.
The manager position is located at GBC headquarters in New York City and housed in the Knowledge, Evaluation and Performance department. The Knowledge, Evaluation and Performance department leads and structures GBC’s efforts to disseminate expertise, stimulate innovation and engineer results-driven efforts in the corporate response to the three diseases.

Merlin Kenya: Terms of Reference (ToR) for Mid Term Review of Malaria Project in Kisii, Gucha, Nyamira and Rachuonyo Districts of Nyanza Province
As part of the project implementation, Merlin is planning to conduct a mid-term review to assess the extent to which the project has achieved its intended purpose in terms of relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact and sustainability. The evaluation will aim to review the progress made in implementing the project vis-à-vis the set objectives and strategies, identify the strengths and gaps in the project implementation, and make recommendations for the upcoming phase 2 and future malaria interventions in the region.

Recruitment for CDC PMI Field Positions in Africa
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Division of Parasitic Diseases, Malaria Branch announces a great opportunity, through the CDC open continuous application process, to apply for seven field positions in support of the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI). The PMI advisors will support the implementation, scale-up, and evaluation of national malaria prevention and control programs in Benin, Ethiopia, Ghana, Liberia, Kenya, Madagascar and Mali. Implementation of the initiative will be closely coordinated with the host government and national and international partners, including the non-governmental and private sectors. Qualified candidates (Medical Officers and Epidemiologists) should have a strong background in monitoring and evaluation, program implementation and field epidemiology, and have demonstrated diplomatic and communications skills in the international setting.
