Interactive guide for malaria RDT selection
This interactive tool selects malaria RDTs with specific performance characteristics required by national malaria control programmes and procuring agencies, based on the results of the WHO-FIND malaria RDT product testing programme (Round 1 – 2008).
Parameters of the tool are : target malaria species, minimum detection rate, minimum detection rate for Pv (%), maximum false positive rate, maximum invalid test rate, test format.
Data to display show results according to detection rate (200 parasites/µl or 2000-5000 parasites/µl), invalid rate, false positive rate, heat stability (200 parasites/µl or 2000 parasites/µl).
