The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria held its first public stakeholder meeting in Bangkok, Thailand on July 7-8, 2004, immediately preceding the International Conference on HIV/AIDS. Many Roll Back Malaria partners attended the Bangkok meeting to help support and improve the Global Fund while keeping malaria high on the agenda. Attendees included RBM Board members and representatives from malaria-endemic countries and other constituencies, recipients of Global Fund grants for malaria programmes and the Executive Secretary of the RBM Partnership.
