The nets arrived in Benin from Vietnam. In Cotonou they were packed into 26 trucks from the International Federation of the Red Cross and driven over a thousand miles north to Niamey. From Niamey they were dispatched to 7 regions and 37 districts where
2,037 distribution sites were established - a major challenge in a country where 75% of the terrain is desert.
