Geneva, 14-16 May 2008: - Seven constituencies, represented at the Roll Back Malaria Partnership Board, convened for the 14th biannual RBM Board meeting, to bring consensus to the global strategy for meeting the RBM 2010 targets. The RBM Board has reviewed progress, best practices, and regional needs assessments and discussed key challenges that needed to be addressed in the short, medium and long term to achieve sustainable malaria control worldwide. Key agenda items include the Partnership's harmonized work plan for 2008, the global malaria business plan, the affordable medicines facility for malaria and the deployment of a Partnership implementation team - the Malaria Implementation Support Team (MIST).
