The RBM Partnership held three events in Johannesburg from 10-12 April with Ministers of Health and other top officials attending the African Union Conference of Ministers of Health. The 7 member states of IGAD and 15 member states of ECOWAS were briefed on provision of a coordinated country support plan for Global Fund applications and the implementation of a Global Subsidy mechanism to purchase ACTs. Elections for representatives to the RBM Board also took place.
