Malaria Advocates

Successful advocacy strategies and activities are highly situational and opportunistic depending on ever-changing local, national and global political and social contexts. Equally, the success of these strategies and activities relies on networks that can lay out complementary advocacy agendas. Networks which make the case for linking, for instance, malaria and gender at every level – policy, research and implementation, in order to address health inequity due to gender norms and roles. Networks clearly demonstrate the benefit of addressing the fight against malaria from new perspectives.
