Dr Thomas Teuscher takes office as ad interim Executive Director of the Roll Back Malaria Partnership (RBM)
With the departure of Professor Awa Marie Coll-Seck today, Dr Teuscher stepped into the position of Executive Director ad interim of the Roll Back Malaria Partnership. The appointment of a new Executive Director is expected to be announced at the next RBM Board meeting in May 2012.

Prof Awa Marie Coll-Seck reflects on her tenure as Executive Director of the Roll Back Malaria Partnership
After eight years at the helm of the Roll Back Malaria Partnership (RBM), Professor Awa Marie Coll-Seck decided that she would not renew her mandate as Executive Director. She stated: "I am particularly happy and proud of the work accomplished, but the time has come for me to consider new horizons."
