West Africa Roll Back Malaria Network (WARN) coordinates partner support on technical and operational issues for going to scale with effective malaria control interventions to 17 West African countries.
Founded in 2005, the WARN network is coordinated by a team of elected members, for which the financial support for much of this work is provided by their parent organization. In addition, the network is facilitated by an RBM focal point funded by the RBM Partnership and hosted by UNICEF WCARO in Dakar.
WARN annual meeting, Bamako, Mali, 28-30 January 2008 View the Agenda The principal objective of the meeting is to re-examine with Harmonization Working Group and NMCP in West Africa, the tools which will be used in the need assessment and to have a consensus on the preparation of the global business plan. This will also be an occasion to determine how the Partnership will assist countries in Global Fund malaria grant implementation and other projects on country level (Malaria Booster program and PMI).
