Campaigns

It is essential that malaria control be incorporated into all health and development policies, strategies and programmes, and that the Roll Back Malaria Partnership work closely with other health initiatives as well as public and private health systems to foster synergies.

Integrated approaches that combine malaria control with other health and/or development activities can increase the reach and impact of interventions while optimizing the use of human, material and financial resources.

Immunization programmes generally have well-developed operational infrastructures, which can act as a vehicle for delivery of malaria interventions, while availability of malaria commodities can act as an additional incentive for mothers and children to attend immunization sessions.
